Apple TV has released the first trailer for the second season of its Spanish-language crime drama Women in Blue (Las Azules).
The acclaimed series returns on August 12, 2026, with new episodes rolling out weekly through September 30.
Women in Blue new season follows María, now promoted to lieutenant, as she is drawn into the investigation of a murdered student activist. What begins as a single homicide soon uncovers long-buried secrets connected to the 1968 student massacre, while the discovery of another body tied to those events sends shockwaves through the police department.
As María teams up once again with Valentina, Gabina, and Ángeles, the four women must navigate institutional corruption, internal pressures, and a relentless hunt for a killer determined to deliver justice on their own terms. The story explores the moral cost of pursuing truth in a system where corruption runs deep.
The cast features Bárbara Mori, Natalia Téllez, Amorita Rasgado, and Ximena Sariñana, alongside Miguel Rodarte, Leonardo Sbaraglia, Christian Tappan, Horacio García Rojas, and Bruno Bichir.
