Radial Entertainment and UK-based independent producer Woodcut Media have begun production on the fourth season of World’s Most Evil Prisoners. The new 10-episode season, with each episode running 60 minutes, is a Radial Original and is scheduled to premiere in 2027.
With the addition of Season 4, the series will reach a total of 40 hours of programming across four seasons. The series is part of Radial’s World’s Most Evil true-crime franchise, which continues to be a consistent performer in the company’s content library.
Radial Secures Rights Across North America and Europe
Radial Entertainment holds exclusive rights in all media to the new season across the United States, Canada, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Woodcut International will handle international sales in the rest of the world.
The fourth season is part of Radial Originals, the company’s expanding slate of original series developed with production partners. The slate combines established franchises and proven formats with distribution rights spanning North America and other international markets, including FAST, AVOD and streaming platforms.
“Each series in the ‘World’s Most Evil’ franchise offers a different lens on criminal behavior,” said Cristina Guggino, Vice President of Originals and Content Partnerships at Radial Entertainment. “‘Prisoners’ examines how offenders manipulate and harm people behind bars, where confinement changes their methods and who is vulnerable. Season 4 digs deeper into those dynamics, building on what makes the series such a compelling part of the franchise.”
World’s Most Evil Prisoners Season 4 Examines Crimes Committed Behind Bars
World’s Most Evil Prisoners explores the cases of offenders serving life sentences whose crimes continue even after imprisonment. Through accounts from victims, friends and family members, journalists and police, the series examines how some inmates continue to torture, kidnap and kill behind bars.
The new season will continue to investigate the psychology behind these crimes while approaching the cases with sensitivity toward victims and their families.
“Each episode of this gripping series delves deeper into the psychology behind these harrowing crimes, uncovering never-before-seen cases while maintaining sensitivity toward the victims’ families,” said Koulla Anastasi, Managing Director of Woodcut International. “We are thrilled to announce Season 4 in partnership with Radial and look forward to presenting to buyers.”
The deal was negotiated by Katie Carroll, Director of Originals and Business Development at Radial Entertainment, and Koulla Anastasi on behalf of Woodcut International.
