Netflix has officially renewed Nemesis for season 2, bringing back the hit crime thriller created by Courtney A. Kemp and Tani Marole.
The relentless cat-and-mouse game is set to continue as hotshot Detective Isaiah Stiles (Matthew Law) and prolific thief Coltrane Wilder (Y’lan Noel) take their high-stakes chase through the streets of Los Angeles to an even more intense level.
Picking up from the gripping first-season cliffhanger, where Stiles allowed Wilder to escape in order to save his son, the upcoming season promises to launch from this tense point in a completely unexpected fashion. Fans can look forward to a deeper exploration of the characters’ backgrounds, particularly for the female leads Charlie and Ebony, who garnered immense viewer interest.
Furthermore, following a high body count in the freshman season, Nemesis will introduce new faces to the cast, drawing from the expansive family trees of both the Stiles and Wilder lineages. Production is slated to kick off soon, meaning the wait for this bigger and bolder second chapter won’t be long.
