The dark comedy thriller Am I Being Unreasonable? is officially gearing up for its final curtain call, as filming has commenced for its third and ultimate season across Bristol, Gloucestershire, and the West Country.
Written by and starring Daisy May Cooper and Selin Hizli, the critically acclaimed series, named the 2025 Best TV Comedy Drama by the British Comedy Guide, will return as a tight, six-part run of 30-minute episodes. Scheduled to premiere later this year on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the UK, the final season will also reach global audiences via Hulu in the US, SBS in Australia, and TVNZ in New Zealand.
For crime and thriller enthusiasts, Am I Being Unreasonable? perfectly bridges the gap between suburban satire and genuinely unsettling mystery. The plot follows a murky morality tale woven from an increasingly tangled web of lies, dark secrets, and blurred boundaries where everyone is forced to confront their messy, hidden realities. This season picks up right in the heart of the suspense, tackling heavy, thriller-fueled cliffhangers: Has a crucial confession finally leaked? What dark deed did Jen commit? And did young Ollie make a central character vanish?
The brilliant BAFTA-winner Lenny Rush and Dustin Demri-Burns are set to reprise their roles alongside returning cast members, while notable names like Joe Wilkinson and Allan Mustafa join the ensemble as guest stars. Beyond its gripping on-screen narrative, Am I Being Unreasonable? is also making a social impact behind the scenes, partnering with the “All Set West” initiative to provide vital industry experience to local, underrepresented talent.
