Apple TV’s upcoming docuseries Twisted Yoga, premiering on March 13, 2026, delves into a disturbing real-life story.
Twisted Yoga follows international yoga students drawn to the practice in search of inner peace, only to fall under the influence of Romanian guru Gregorian Bivolaru, who allegedly summoned female students to private sessions and now faces charges in France including human trafficking, kidnapping, and sexual assault.
Produced by Lightbox with Ladywell Films, and led by two-time Oscar winner Simon Chinn, Emmy winner Jonathan Chinn, Suzanne Lavery, Bernadette Higgins, and director Rowan Deacon, the series blends spiritual pursuit with criminal intrigue.
