The Night Manager is back with Tom Hiddleston reprising his role as Jonathan Pine in a new six-episode espionage thriller from Prime Video and the BBC. Season two premieres on January 11, 2026.
The newly released trailer finds Pine living a quiet life in London under the alias Alex Goodwin, working as a low-level MI6 officer. That calm is shattered when he spots a former mercenary, pulling him back into the world of covert operations. His trail leads to Colombian businessman and arms dealer Teddy Dos Santos, played by Diego Calva, and quickly spirals into a violent conspiracy.
Encouraged to return to the field by Angela Burr (Olivia Colman), Pine teams up with Roxana Bolaños (Camila Morrone), a businesswoman who reluctantly helps him infiltrate Dos Santos’ operation. As the mission unfolds, Pine faces betrayal, shifting alliances, and a dangerous plot involving the training of a guerrilla army.

The first three episodes of season two will debut on January 11, with new episodes airing weekly through the finale on February 1. The series will stream on Prime Video worldwide and air on BBC and BBC iPlayer in the U.K.
New cast members include Indira Varma, Paul Chahidi, and Hayley Squires, alongside returning actors Alistair Petrie, Douglas Hodge, Michael Nardone, and Noah Jupe. Based on characters created by John le Carré, season two is created and executive produced by David Farr and directed by Georgi Banks-Davies.
The Night Manager is produced by The Ink Factory in association with Character 7, Demarest Films, 127 Wall, and in a co-production with Spain’s Nostromo Pictures.
