The production of Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer Season 5 has officially begun.
The new season, consisting of 10 episodes, is inspired by Michael Connelly’s seventh book in the series, Resurrection Walk. The cast has expanded with eight new recurring actors: Diane Guerrero, Teresa Maria, Richard Cabral, Steve Howey, Patty Guggenheim, Corbin Bernsen, Chris Diamantopoulos, and Iker Garcia. Additionally, Cobie Smulders has been promoted to series regular, reprising her role as Artemisia “Emi” Finch.
In this season of The Lincoln Lawyer, Mickey Haller faces a personal and professional challenge when his previously unknown half-sister Emi comes to him for help in freeing a wrongfully convicted woman. The storyline explores themes of blood ties, buried secrets, and family legacy, as Mickey and his team navigate complex legal battles and dangerous conspiracies. Returning recurring actors include Neve Campbell, Krista Warner, Angelica Maria, and Gigi Zumbado. The Lincoln Lawyer has previously spent 29 weeks on Netflix’s Global Top 10 and has amassed 171 million views since 2023.
Seasons 1 through 4 were filmed in Los Angeles, involving more than 4,300 cast and crew members across over 50 locations. The TV adaptation was created by David E. Kelley and developed by Ted Humphrey, with both, along with Kelley, serving as executive producers of the series.
