France Distribution got the rights to the crime drama series starring Alix Polisson, Our Missing Sons (Les Disparus des Argonnes), produced by Studio 14 Films.
The 4×52’ series is scheduled for its official international launch at the Unifrance Rendez-Vous in Le Havre from September 7 to 10, 2026. The show has also been selected for the French Competition section for 52-minute series at the upcoming Festival de la Fiction happening between September 15–20, 2026.
What is Our Missing Sons about?
Our Missing Sons follows the story of Jocelyne Veyrades, who is convinced that his son Gilles didn’t simply desert after he mysteriously disappeared while on furlough in 1981. Through her investigations, she discovers that other young men serving in the military have gone missing in the region. And over the years, more disappearances are reported, yet the military institutions and the authorities are indifferent to this. Jocelyne joins forces with other families and speaks out on television. Her testimony leads to the reopening of the investigation. Her determination yields results after 20 years; finally, light is shed on this case, and justice is served.
