Northern Irish crime drama Hope Street is continuing its international expansion, with Sphere Abacus securing a new round of broadcast and streaming deals for the series.
The distributor has closed agreements covering Seasons 1–5 across several European markets, as well as North America and the Nordic region, extending the reach of the BBC and BritBox co-commissioned drama.
Where Is Hope Street Available Internationally?
In Greece, ERT has acquired all five seasons of Hope Street, covering 51 episodes. Pickbox has taken Seasons 1–3 for its Pickbox NOW streaming service and Pickbox 1 linear channel across Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, North Macedonia and Slovenia.
The series has also secured further North American exposure. TVO Media Education Group in Canada and American Public Television in the US have acquired Seasons 4 and 5, comprising 16 episodes.
BritBox has added Season 5 in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, following its earlier acquisition of the first four seasons in the Nordic territories.
What Is Hope Street About?
Created by Susanne Farrell and Paul Marquess, Hope Street is set in the fictional Northern Irish coastal town of Port Devine. The drama follows local police officers as they investigate a succession of cases while the series also explores the community surrounding them.
The show was co-commissioned by BBC and BritBox with support from Northern Ireland Screen.

What Is Next for Hope Street?
The latest deals arrive as production wraps on One of Our Own: A Hope Street Film, a 90-minute feature-length spin-off from Long Story TV.
The special was filmed in County Down and is set for a limited theatrical release in Northern Ireland, the wider UK and Ireland before its BBC broadcast later this year. Sphere Abacus is handling international rights outside the UK and US, with the project available either as a 90-minute film or a two-part special.
