Hearst Networks has commissioned Bodies on the Bridge, a new two-part true crime documentary for its Crime+Investigation channel, set to premiere on September 7.

The series revisits the shocking July 2024 case that began with the discovery of two suitcases containing human remains on Bristol‘s Clifton Suspension Bridge. It follows the investigation from the first police report of a man wheeling a heavy suitcase across the bridge, tracing how detectives uncovered the murders of Albert Alfonso and Paul Longworth and the connection to Yostin Mosquera, who was ultimately convicted of both killings.

Drawing on extensive CCTV footage, mobile phone recordings, doorbell camera videos and webcam material, the documentary reconstructs the investigation step by step, revealing how investigators pieced together the evidence.

Bodies on the Bridge is produced by LongWave TV, the company behind previous Crime+Investigation documentaries Body in the Suitcase and Bubble and Squeak Murder.
