Chris Messina, Michael Peña and Esai Morales have joined the cast of the psychological thriller Tumor, expanding an ensemble that already includes Sam Rockwell and Maisy Stella in leading roles.
Filming has wrapped in Los Angeles, with Will Bridges serving as both writer and director. The film follows a low-level private investigator who is struggling with the debilitating effects of a late-stage brain tumor while taking on a high-stakes case involving a missing young woman.
As his investigation leads him into the world of Los Angeles’ wealthy and privileged youth, he finds himself increasingly out of his depth. With his grip on reality beginning to slip, the lines between past and present blur, uncovering long-buried secrets and forcing him to confront the darker corners of his own history. Blending psychological tension with character-driven drama, Tumor aims to deliver a layered and unsettling narrative.
